Very happy with the platform, it changed our lives! Schedules are planned more than 6 months ahead, while reducing temporary staff. Teams have more visibility, fewer last-minute changes, and feel more at ease.
One application for the entire hospital.
From conventional wards to acute care platforms, and even beyond.
Hopia, department by department.
Hopia covers every type of department, from the simplest to the most complex, including acute care platforms and the ER.

Operating room
One of the most complex environments to schedule: scrub nurses, nurse anesthetists, nursing aides, PACU, variable room openings and closures, and shifting surgical schedules.

Quality of work life
Quality of life & working conditions
of schedules planned in advance, visibility and peace of mind for teams
- Visibility: caregivers know their schedule months ahead, no more Sunday-night texts.
- AI-guaranteed fairness: on-call shifts, weekends, and nights are distributed transparently and verifiably, the same rules apply to everyone.
- Individual specifics: time off, shift preferences, medical restrictions, all factored into the algorithm.
- Mobile app: view your schedule, submit requests, swap shifts, anytime, anywhere.
Positive feedback measured among physicians, caregivers, and employee representatives.
Answering the needs of each person, in service of the team.
Patient care

to meet growing care demand with the same resources
- The right caregiver, in the right role, at the right time: skills and certifications built into every assignment.
- Reliable real-time data: nurse managers and physicians know exactly who is where, at every moment.

When scheduling is right, patients are the ones who benefit.
Efficiency

- 70+ facilities in production, 7,000+ professionals scheduled every day, a solution proven at scale.
- Fast ROI: savings from reduced temporary staffing and optimized resources fund the solution in the first year.
A solution that pays for itself.
They deployed it, here's what they say.
Improving quality of care starts with improving the quality of work life for our physicians and caregivers. Rolling out Hopia is a critical initiative: the project is fully integrated into our Quality program.
Scheduling on Excel required 2 weeks of full-time work for 2 physicians managing 40 anesthesiologists. With Hopia, the process now takes only 3 days, allowing physicians to refocus on clinical work.
Hopia has become essential to manage a team of 24–25 radiologists. Our scheduling visibility went from 1 month to 4, even 5 months!
Hopia saves several dozen hours per month for the ER physician in charge of scheduling. It brought real fairness to how tasks and on-call shifts are distributed across the ER team.
One anesthesiologist was about to leave before Hopia because schedules weren't fair. He stayed, and had all his preferences honored for the next 6 months.
Rolling out Hopia gave us reliable, real-time data for assigning our allied health professionals in the OR. A real asset for managing an OR with 30 rooms and 110 nurses.
Hopia's rollout stood out for its remarkable smoothness, with no service interruption whatsoever. The support team showed attentive listening and outstanding adaptability, gradually adopting the professional language specific to our field.
A nurse manager's real value is being close to the team: supporting, motivating, reading weak signals. Hopia frees us from task management so we can truly do that.
“Hopia stands out as an essential answer to the complex scheduling challenges of healthcare organizations. Faced with growing demands for fairness, transparency and automation, the platform has shown its capacity to ease the mental load on managers and improve the quality of work life for teams.”
